A one year full-time foundation course
We offer a one year full-time foundation course created by choreographer and audition leader Hayley Franks Høier and musical artist Malin Astor.Two complimentary perspectives of the "audition" and "performance" experience combine together to deliver a course geared towards taking students one step closer to a career as professional musical theatre artists.
The course has been designed for performers of 16 years and above with a special talent in at least one of the three disciplines; drama, singing and dance. We guide our students who are seeking to reach their highest potential to secure a place on a triple threat degree-level training program.
We know from experience that a solid foundation in the basic skills is core to success. Central's curriculum is heavily focused on improving techniques in all three disciplines, resulting in a highly demanding and technical program. This has resulted in a high percentage of our students being accepted into renowned Bachelor programs and also mainstage musicals.
To support and inspire the students to maintain their focus and determination throughout the academic year, they will also take part in regular masterclasses held by our core teachers, international performers and established choreographers.
During the academic school year the students will experience performing in audition situations in front of a variety of professional panels, offering their feedback to each student individually.
