Hayley Franks Høier
CO-FOUNDER
BALLET, TAP AND MUSICAL DANCE
My name is Hayley and I will be teaching Ballet to the Central Youth students.
I trained at English National Ballet School in London, and I have worked in the Musical Theatre branch for over 20 years as a dancer and choreographer at Det Ny Teater here in Copenhagen.
During this time I have also worked a lot with young performers training them for various musicals that have played at Det Ny Teater such as Annie, Billy Elliot,Sound Of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and Oliver.I am currently part of the Billy School which Central Musical Theatre School is running, training the children for the up and coming production of Billy Elliot at The Opera House in Copenhagen.
For all of these projects I have found training the children so rewarding not only to see how they grow as a performer but also as a person.
I am so excited to share my knowledge and encourage the students in a firm but positive way so each student can develop a strong basic ballet technique.

JAZZ AND MUSICAL DANCE
My name is Malin and I will be teaching the students at Central Youth in jazz technique and choreography work. I'm trained at Performing Art School in Sweden and have worked as a Musical Theatre Performer, dancer and dance teacher for over 20 years both in Denmark and in other parts of Europe. I am currently part of the Billy School which Central Musical Theatre School is running, training the children for the up and coming production of Billy Elliot at The Opera House in Copenhagen.
I have during the years worked with a lot of kids and teenagers in different shows and schools and I believe the focus on technical work is just as important as the pure joy of dancing. In my classes I look forward to working on the basic jazz technique as well as building up good self-confidence as I know from experience that is the key to growth.
Emil Birk Lissmatz Hartmann
DRAMA
My name is Emil, and I graduated from the Danish Academy of Musical Theatre Fredericia in 2014. I will be working with the students to explore what it means to do character work; that is to say, building upon their work with physicality and knowledge of scene analysis, we will explore how we, as actors, can manifest characters through our physical expression as well as understand their psychology. We will become familiar with the methodology and terminology of Michael Chekhov and Konstantin Stanislavskij, and through this, we will create characters and write our own monologues and dialogues. I’m very much looking forward to working with the students at Central Youth.

Ann HøLund
DRAMA
My name is Ann. I have worked as a freelance actor since I was educated in 2009.
In recent years, I have starred in the DR series ‘GURU’ and ‘En Rigtig Vejrmand’, played the role of Cirkeline in the show ‘God Jul, Cirkeline’ and together with my theater collective created the performance 'Generation Krop'.
Alongside my work as an actor, I have , since 2012, taught drama and directed performances and musicals with children and young people.
In other words, I have a wide range of experience and in my teaching I therefore also use techniques from several different methods. In my work at Central I will introduce text work to the students. Among other things we will examine how many different ways lines can be delivered and what effect it has.
However, there is one thing that always gets the most focus in my teaching and that is to create a safe space for the students, where they feel free to let themselves and their creativity loose.
Mark Agerskov
DRAMA
My name is Mark, I am a trained musical performer from the Danish Academy of Musical Theatre Fredericia
For me, theater is play, free imagination and community.
I want to bring the group together through play, open up everyone's free imagination and let creativity flow freely.
We must create universes together and stand by who we are.
The magic happens when the brain pauses and we feel the creativity in the
Karina Nus
SINGING AND VOICE
My name is Karina, I am a trained singer and singing teacher at the Complete Vocal Institute and the University of Copenhagen. For over 20 years I have taught in the theater industry, been a singing coach on TV shows such as X factor, DR Julesshowet, Hvem holder masken and on theater performances and musicals in Denmark and abroad. I have also taught at the Danish Performing Arts School; the theater schools in Copenhagen, Aarhus and the musical academy in Fredericia. .I am currently part of the Billy School which Central Musical Theatre School is running,
training the children for the up and coming production of Billy Elliot at The Opera House in Copenhagen.
At Central Youth I review the anatomy, function, possibilities of the breath and the voice. That is how we get the voice to work so that you can sing both powerfully, quietly, in height and depth and everything in between. I go
through which sounds are found in the human voice, which rules there are for them and how we achieve being able to sing them healthily. The theory is put into practice by singing together in a choir, but where everyone gets
the opportunity to try all the sounds individually in the group. The teaching is an introduction to the possibilities and potential of the voice. Theoretical and practical. It's super fun and I'm really looking forward to it!
Oliver Poulin
CHOIR
My name is Oliver, and I graduated from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in Fredericia in 2020. Since then I have been working as a musicalperformer, voice teacher, music arranger and musical director.
I’ve always had a fascination with choir and singing with others. When we combine our voices in a choir setting we’re able to express something we can’t achieve on our own. In a musical theatre context it’s a very unique form of storytelling and to me it’s one of the most effective and moving ones.
I can’t wait to work with the students at Central Youth!
