Hayley Franks Høier

CO-FOUNDER
BALLET, TAP AND MUSICAL DANCE

Hayley's combination of dance, choreographer and audition leader experience means she can offer students a 360 degree perspective of what it really takes to succeed as a musical artist. In addition Hayley is considered by her peers to be warm, patient and giving but also firm enough to guide students to achieving their best results.

From being trained in England and working on many musicals in Denmark which also involved assisting other choreographers from the West End in London and Broadway in New York she has a lot of knowledge and connections to what is needed to make it in the musical theatre world.

Hayley is trained at Elmhurst Ballet School as well as the English National Ballet School in London. After arriving in Copenhagen she started to perform in Phantom of the Opera at Det Ny Teater in Copenhagen. She continued to work for Det Ny Teater where she made a home for herself as a dancer and at the same time took on a dual role of choreographer's assistant in various shows including Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Singing in the Rain, Crazy for You, Billy Elliot, The king and I,Chicago, Wicked, Evita, Anything Goes, The book of Mormon, Dance Of The Vampire, Fiddler Of The Roof, Oliver and Waitress. Since then Hayley has now choreographed numerous musicals such as Annie, Les Misérables, La Cage Aux Folles, The Producers, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, Love Never Dies, The Sound of Music, Annie Get Your Gun, Jekyll and Hyde, Doctor Zhivago.

Malin Astor

CO-FOUNDER
JAZZ AND MUSICAL DANCE

Malin specialises in Jazz Dance as a performer and choreographer. It's this purism and complete dedication and devotion that epitomises her teaching style and belief. Malin has the deepest understanding of what it takes to develop and build a successful career as a professional dancer as well as cope with such a competitive and hard working environment.

She brings this professionalism to her classes complimented with an empathetic and encouraging attitude always reminding students of the sheer joy of dance and musical performance underpinning the very 'why' choose performance art as a career.

Malin was educated at Performing Art School in Sweden where she graduated 1997. She arrived in Copenhagen in 1998 where she started to work as a dancer and musical artist at Det Ny Teater in the show The Merry Widow. Malin continued working in as a dancer and musical performer in Another Brick in The Wall, Crazy For You, Fame, Wallmans , My Fair Lady, Cats, Evita & Beauty and the Beast performing at Det Ny Teater, Nørrebros Teater, Det Danske Teater, Bellevue and LandsTeatret.

Malin has many years of experience teaching in jazz technique and musical theatre dance at professional level and during 2012-2015 worked as the main jazz teacher at a 1 and 2-year diploma education in Copenhagen.

Karina Nus

SINGING AND VOICE

Karina is Central’s voice and singing teacher overseeing the academic syllabus. Karina works across a wide range of styles including classical, musical, jazz, pop, rock to heavy metal and many more, providing Central’s students with extensive vocal tools and techniques to meet the diverse requirements of the industry.

Since 2005, Karina has focused on helping singers and actors deal with stress, anxiety and stage fright via a combination of concrete exercises that affect the nervous system directly supported by metacognitive therapeutic practices and tools. Combined with her 12 years experience as a professional singer and actor demonstrating her versatility as a teacher and her ability to offer career essential performance tools, students will be provided with a relevant combination of techniques to achieve their highest potential when it counts - in auditions and on stage.

Ole Rasmus Møller

SINGING AND VOICE

Ole Rasmus Møller is Central’s voice and singing teacher overseeing the academic syllabus. Ole Rasmus works across a wide range of styles including musical, pop, singer/songwriters material, harmony singing (besides dubbing cartoons), providing Central’s students with extensive vocal tools and techniques to meet the diverse requirements of the industry.

Since 2006, Ole Rasmus has focused on helping singers and actors deal with vocal issues via his work as a vocal coach. His background in theatre has given him a lot of experience in teaching interpretation as well. Combined with his 40 years experience as a professional performer demonstrating his versatility as a teacher and his ability to offer career essential performance tools, students will be provided with a relevant combination of techniques to achieve their highest potential when it counts - in auditions and on stage. All that will be done in a safe teaching environment.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Singer Session singer at numerous albums singing backing vocals for different danish artists and singing titelsongs for cartoon series. Tv and live experience mainly while joining the vocal ensembles "Hans Mosters Vovse" (1980 - 1981) and “Én Over/Én Under” (1984 - 2020).

Musical Performer Parts in; “Les Miserable”, “Cabaret”, “Godspell”,”Hair”, ”Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Annie”, Annie Get Your Gun”, “Man of La Mancha”, “Animal Farm”, ”My Fair Lady”, “Gøngehøvdingen”, “Folk & Røvere i Kardemommeby”, “Ronja Røverdatter” among others. Johnny Jørgensen

SINGING AND VOICE

Johnny teaches singing technique based on the Anne Rosing method and interpretation based on David Brunetti.

EDUCATION

Johnny is trained in the Anne Rosing method.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Johnny Jørgensen had his first breakthrough with ‘Morning on Atlantis’ and has been singing professionally across Denmark. He is a permanent singing teacher at the Danish Musical Academy in Fredericia as well as instructing singing on various musical productions at renowned theatres including Østre Gasværk, Tivoli and at Nyborg Voldspil.

Charlotte Guldberg

DRAMA

With a professional career working in lead roles across theater, TV and film, Charlotte has a wealth of professional experience to share with Central’s students. Combining strong technique with a more humanistic approach Charlotte will provide a stable platform for students to feel comfortable coming out of their shells in a safe and well guided environment core to developing the necessary drama skills on the road to audition success.

Mette Nagel

CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Mette is Central’s contemporary dance instructor offering classes balanced between disciplined technical work and freedom for students to explore their own unique movement and body language. Mette's approach is founded on her experience as a gymnast and dancer on both elite and national teams in Denmark. Mette pays close attention to detail complimented with the spaciousness she offers to those in her class. Students can expect to be taken out of their comfort zone in a safe environment to fully explore their individuality and creativity.

EDUCATION

In addition to have studied at Danseuddannelsen by Sara Gaardbo and Stepz in Copenhagen, Mette offers her international experience following multiple stays in London, New York, and Los Angeles providing her with further education and inspiration.

WORKING EXPERIENCE

For the past 10 years Mette has taught contemporary dance and been a part of different dance initiatives around Denmark. As a performer Mette has a broad C.V including commercial work for TV2, dancer and assistant choreographer on projects at the University of Copenhagen, been a part of The National Danish Performance Team and for two years worked as a a dancer at Gerlev Performance Team, with whom she has performed as well as leading workshops across the globe including Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. Mette brings an international mindset and influence to every class that students will benefit from.

Jennifer is Central’s pilates instructor and one of our ballet teachers. Jennifer’s teaching blends together a very personal and firm style that makes students feel secure and comfortable in the studio.
